Join me for a hands-on cyanotype workshop, where you’ll learn the science behind the magical cyanotype process and create several one-of-a-kind pieces to take home!

In this hands-on, 3-hour workshop, you’ll learn everything you need to know about harnessing the power of the sun to create one-of-a-kind cyanotypes (also known as sun-prints). This workshop takes place in my new studio, and you’ll have the opportunity to forage around the farm for botanicals to use in your own cyanotype pieces. We'll experiment with printing on both paper and fabric, and you'll create several one-of-a-kind cyanotypes to take home. Each participant will also receive an original 5×7 cyanotype from my personal collection as a keepsake from the day. No experience necessary—just come ready to create, explore, and enjoy an afternoon surrounded by nature!

PLEASE NOTE: This workshop is highly weather dependent… we need sunshine to make cyanotypes! The inclement weather date for the workshop is Sunday, August 30th @ 10am-1pm – please try to have flexibility to attend on Sunday if the date needs to be moved due to weather.

• LOCATION: 4500 Lloydtown Rd, Mebane, NC 27302. Our farm is located 15 minutes west of Carrboro, 20-25 minutes from Chapel Hill and Hillsborough, and about 35 minutes from Durham.

• CLASS SIZE: This is an intimate workshop with a max class size of 6 people.

• WHAT TO WEAR: Please wear closed-toe shoes, and clothes that you don't mind getting a bit dirty! A hat and/or sunglasses are also recommended for sunny days.

• REFUND POLICY: Payments for classes are non-refundable. If you purchased a ticket and can no longer attend, we are not able to reimburse you for the ticket, but you are welcome to sell your ticket / have someone else attend in your place (just please let us know the name/contact info for the new participant).

• INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY: In the case of severe inclement weather, the workshop will be rescheduled for Sunday, August 30th @ 10am-1pm. If you are not able to attend the rescheduled date, your ticket will be fully refunded.
