FARMBELLY SPRING CSA
The team at Farmbelly takes pride in sharing the freshest + most beautiful vegetables for your tables each week! CSAs are a wonderful way to support your local farmers, as it's a commitment to sharing in the rewards (and the risks) that come with small-scale, diversified growing.
Our Spring 2026 CSA session will run for 8 weeks, with the first pick up on April 7th and the final pickup on May 26th. Pick ups for the Spring CSA are on Tuesday afternoons at Farmbelly. Two CSA share sizes are available: Regular share & Large share.
See below for all the details for our Spring CSA.
WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE FARMBELLY SPRING CSA:
A weekly box of super fresh and nourishing vegetables and herbs straight from our farm. Throughout our spring session, you can expect to receive the following vegetables in your shares: lots of GREENS – lettuce, baby kale, full size kale, swiss chard, arugula, and asian greens (please note, if you don’t like greens, this might not be the best season for you to join the CSA). We will also have a bounty of root veggies like radishes, beets, turnips and carrots; fresh herbs like parsley, cilantro and dill; as well as other spring favorites like broccoli, cabbage, fennel, kohlrabi, sugar snap peas, garlic scapes, and scallions.
A weekly email with details about the contents of your share and lots of recipe + culinary inspiration, as well as tips on how to properly store your produce to make it last as long as possible.

PICK UP OPTIONS:
For our Spring 2024 CSA session, pickups are on TUESDAY afternoons between 2pm-7pm at Farmbelly (4500 Lloydtown Rd). Please note that I can accomodate pickups on Wednesdays if needed.
A note that while I do not have the capacity for a formal Chapel Hill pick-up location at this time, I'm happy to collect names/contact info for anyone coming from Chapel Hill/Carrboro to get your box, to help folks coordinate taking turns picking up here at the farm so you don't have to make the drive every week. Please send me an email if you are interested in being added to this Chapel Hill/Carrboro list!
CSA FAQS
What does CSA mean? CSA stands for “Community Supported Agriculture” and is a model pioneered by Dr. Booker T. Whatley, who was an African American horticulturist, author, and Tuskegee University Professor of Agriculture. In a CSA, community members support small farmers throughout the growing season, sharing in the risks and rewards of growing good food, and helps bring people closer to where their food comes from!
Is Farmbelly organic? We grow our produce using 100% organic practices, however we are not Certified Organic by the USDA. If you have any specific questions about our growing practices, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
What if I can’t pick up my share one week? If you know you are going to be unable to pick up your share, we encourage you to have a friend, family member, or co-worker take your share. If no one else is available to pick up your share, just let us know and we will donate it!
What are the dates for the Spring CSA? Our Spring 2026 CSA session will run for 8 weeks, starting April 7th and ending on May 26th.
What is the pick up date / location for the Spring CSA? Pick ups will take place on Tuesdays from 2pm-7pm at Farmbelly HQ.
What if I’m not satisfied and want to stop my CSA share? While we will happily work through any issues you may be having, if for whatever reason you need to stop your CSA membership mid-season, we will offer a refund on a pro-rated basis.
My desired share is sold out. Is there a waitlist? Yes! If your desired share is sold out, please add your name to the waitlist here. We will offer any additional spots that open up in the order in which they are received on the waitlist.
