Learn the basic (and surprisingly simple) art of making fresh farmhouse cheeses! You'll walk away from this class with awesome new skills, a detailed recipe packet, and bellies full of our freshly made cheeses. During this hands-on class, together we will make the following farmhouse dairy products using local dairy from Maple View Farm.

  • Homemade Butter

  • Crème Fraîche

  • Fresh Ricotta

  • Mozzarella

In this fun and engaging workshop, you'll learn tangible tools, tips, and recipes for embracing “ugly”produce, cooking from “root to stem” and reducing food waste as we cover the following:

  • Pantry organization and recommended tools for minimizing food waste

  • Proper storage methods for fresh produce, nuts/seeds, oils, etc

  • Recipes + tips to utilize every part of various fruits, veggies, and herbs

  • Knife Skills demonstration + how to properly chop a variety of different vegetables

  • HANDS-ON ACTIVITY: Farmers' Market Quick Pickles

This class is part demonstration and part hands-on – everyone will get to make their own jar of farmers' market quick pickles to take home!
