‘Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat’ Cooking class: the BANH MI EDITION


Thursday, May 9th @ 6:30pm at Midway Kitchen

Inspired by Samin Nosrat's best-selling cookbook Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat – this foundational class will dig into each of these four elements as we build our menu, made from local + seasonal ingredients from the Triangle’s best growers. We’re digging into the essential building blocks of cooking while creating a Vietnamese street food classic – the Banh Mi! This flavor-packed class is part hands-on and part demonstration, with lots of tasting and learning together throughout the evening, as well as an in-depth hands-on knife skills lesson.After cooking up our dishes, the class will end with a wonderful seated meal together.
